The St. John Ambulance Brigade of Ireland is delighted to announce a full schedule of courses for 2010. We offer two types of course. The first is a nighttime public first aid course. It is intended for those who wish to learn first aid without making the commitment to complete a full 3 Day Occupational first aid course. Participants on the nighttime first aid course are issued with a certificate from the St. John Ambulance Brigade.

The Occupational 3 Day First Aid Course is intended for those who wish to act as appointed first aiders in their workplace. This course is externally accredited by Fetac.

First Aid training is an integral part of the service St. John Ambulance provides to the community. Public courses are offered at our headquarters in Dublin, Cork and other venues. We also provide on-site training for corporate and sporting organisations. In the event of an injury at home, at work or at play, a St. John Ambulance first aid course will help you provide adequate care until medical aid can be obtained.

Evening First Aid Course:

• A “Public First Aid class” will commence on the 13th of April 2010 at St John Ambulance Brigade Head Quarters, 29 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4.

• Registration will take place on that evening and the course will start and continue for eight evenings. The class will begin at 7.45pm.

• Course conducted by a Medical Doctor and trained Instructors & Demonstrators.

3 Day Occupational First Aid Course FETAC Level 5:

• 13th, 14th, and 15th of April, 2010.
• 27th, 28th and 29th of April, 2010.
• 11th, 12th and 13th of May, 2010.
• 25th, 26th and 27th of May, , 2010.

Upcoming Refresher Course:

To keep one's first aid certificate valid, one must attend a 1 day refresher course.
